We are here to help you get to know your new home at Warren College. You’ll have Orientation Leaders to serve as your student guides as you learn about your academic, leadership, and involvement opportunities, and meet fellow students, staff, and faculty along the way. This is your time for a smooth transition to Triton and Warren life.

Steps to begin your Transition into Warren!

Submit your Academic Background

New Triton Advising (NTA) on the Virtual Advising Center (VAC) will be available to you beginning June 18, 2025! On this date, please provide Warren Academic Advisors with your academic background information via New Triton Advising by July 2, 2025. Completing the NTA will allow you to receive Enrollment Guidance for Fall Quarter enrollment in early August. NTA is also where you can review upcoming academic deadlines and find information regarding academic placement testing. Also, look out for advising newsletters throughout the summer.

Warren College Orientation

Orientation is designed specifically to assist you in learning about the resources available on campus, connect you with other incoming students, and smooth your transition into Warren College and UC San Diego. All new Warren College students are required to participate in both parts of the two-part college orientation experience.

Complete the Pre-Orientation part 1: Complete Warren's Online Orientation Self-guided Canvas Course.  These modules will be released and accessible to students in late August. Please keep an eye out for an email with more details.

 Orientation Part 2: Attend one in-person orientation session held on

• September 21st
• September 22nd

Please sign up for Orientation at cor.ucsd.edu starting June 18th 

The deadline to sign up is July 25th, 2025.

Please note that due to capacity, some orientation dates fill up more quickly than others. To secure a date that works best for you, we recommend signing up as soon as possible. 

Makeup Orientation is available for incoming students as an alternative in the case;

1. Students are not able to attend one of the other in-person sessions.
2. Students missed the Orientation Registration Deadline of July 25th.
3. All other Sessions have reached capacity.

Note: Every student, regardless is expected to complete the Pre-Orientation Canvas courses by September 17th. 

HOUSING: If you plan to live on campus, please be aware that you cannot move in on the same day as your orientation due to scheduling conflicts. For example, if your move-in date is September 19th, you may attend orientation only on September 21st.

• Check your @UCSD email address often! You will continue to receive information about next steps and additional resources available to our incoming students. 
• Complete all necessary steps within your Applicant Portal.(Housing deadlines, submitting final transcripts/test scores) 
• Look out for the Warren College Orientation Newsletter (sent to your UCSD email) for upcoming summer events! 
• TBA Virtual Summer Hangouts: Chat and hang out with current students to learn more about Warren!
